Henna paste is made from a flowering plant that grows in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa and Asia. Since the Bronze Age, people have used dried henna, ground into a paste, to dye skin, hair, etc.
I use a natural organic henna paste that is chemical free. The designs last about 1-2 weeks depending on how well you take care of it.
The henna is staining the top layer of skin cells, so when that skin replaces itself the tattoo will disappear. Applying oil or lotion will help to preserve the tattoo.
Henna Temporary Tattoos

I do henna tattoos at birthday parties, school events, and fairs. I do a variety of different styles of designs such as traditional mehndi, hawaiian/polynesian, floral, and really anything that you can find on pinterest. My rates vary based on the elaboration and size of the design. Below are some examples of the work I have done and what I charged. (Brown is with paste still on, orange is the actual stain)
